Due to numerous customer requests, we now offer the well-known and popular Heavy Präzipress with a further extended pressing window and press stroke. This makes it possible to load even very large cartridges in addition to the .50BMG (here 14.5 mm x 114 mm) with the usual precision and stability.
The press window has a height of 170 mm and the usable press stroke is 150 mm. In addition to the standard head plate with 1-1/2 - 12 UNF threads (including reduction bushings to 1 1/4 - 12 UNF and 7/8 - 14 UNF), we offer an optional interchangeable head plate with 2 - 12 UNF threads for the use of 2-inch dies.
The sleeve holder is threaded into the 7/8 - 14 UNF punch. A standard sleeve holder adapter is included in the scope of delivery. Sleeve holders with threaded base can be produced for any desired calibre on individual order.
According to experts, Turban presses are the best available in the single-station segment. All moving parts are mounted on bronze bushings, while all shafts are ground and chrome-plated. These precautions guarantee a very long service life.
However, in the event of wear, the bearing bushings can be replaced and the other parts re-burnished. In this way, even after decades of intensive use, the press can be quickly and economically restored to its original condition.
No special accessories or the like are required. All adapters are included. With these presses, the press piston is precisely guided several times over the entire stroke length, thus achieving incomparable precision.
