Rare Canadian Browning HP manufactured by Inglis, in the version known as the “Chinese contract”, produced between 1943 and 1945 for export to China. It features an adjustable rear sight and a stock attachment on the grip. This example was not actually exported due to the blockade imposed by Japan, which at the time occupied China, and was therefore delivered to the Canadian Army and used on the Western Front during the Second World War.
