The design criteria for this press was to create the best turret ever seen on the market. Redding's engineering team started with the construction of the cast iron support for the turret, which is second to none in the way of reloading equipment. They then added a very strong connection between the base and turret, characterized by having at least 3.8" thickness to prevent any sort of play.
The threading and connecting guide are absolutely solid and tested as they were shot identical to those found in Redding's UltraMag press. The guide is more than an inch thick and provides perfect stability to the turret. Seven different charging stations were designed each of which can be used by going to rotate and position the turret along the correct direction. In addition, an optional device for automatic insertion of primers into their housings was also designed, such a device is called "Slide Bar Automatic Primer Feeder System".
After ensuring the robustness and precision to the press, Redding has devoted itself to very precise finishing of the details thus going on to ensure the level of precision expected from an instrument of this calibration. Redding is convinced that they have created the best 'Turret Press' on the market. The photo shows the T-7 Turret Press with the optional Slide Bar Automatic Primer Feeder System installed. This optional is also adaptable to the new "Big Boss" press.
