FORSTER CROSS BOLT DIE LOCK RING

With a simple design improvement, Forster has solved two problems common to many reloaders: misalignment of the locking ring and/or damaged threads. Forster rings feature a bolt that connects the two ends of the ring, instead of the conventional screw that is tightened directly onto the thread. The result is a more precise fit of the ring with the thread, a more reliable alignment without tilting, and the prevention of any damage to the thread untouched by the bolt, which can be tightened or loosened with a simple screwdriver. These rings, supplied with all Forster dies, fit most manufacturers' standard 7/8" x 14 dies.
