The walnut stock features a stainless steel folding side, made with original Ruger tooling, and an injection-molded polymer pistol grip. The rugged, Garand action, with breech lock system, a fixed piston gas system and a self-cleaning movable gas cylinder, offers unmatched reliability in harsh operating conditions. The threaded barrel with factory-installed flame arrestor is cold forged, resulting in ultra-precise rifling that ensures exceptional accuracy and long life. Integrated scope mounts, machined directly into the solid steel breech, provide a stable mounting surface for the included scope rings, eliminating a potential source of inaccuracy in the field. The precise aiming system includes a ghost hale rear sight and a protected front sight. The breech is drilled and tapped for mounting the included Picatinny rail. Also includes: Two Teflon-coated nickel-plated steel magazines.
