Guns maintenance

BALLISTOL protects against rust, lubricates without resinifying, cleans and removes dust residue and deposits of lead, copper and tombak. It penetrates the finest cracks and dissolves old dirt and resins from unsuitable oils. Neutralizes combustion residues. Also ideal for cleaning, caring for and preserving leather kicks and straps.

Metal

BALLISTOL finds universal use in the manufacture of machines and tools, the machining of precision instruments and scales. BALLISTOL forms an alkaline protective film on metals, neutralizes hand sweat and other acidic residues that promote rust, and protects against corrosion. Because of its low surface tension and enormous penetration capacity, BALLISTOL reaches even the tightest corners and finest cracks in metal. It is ideal for the maintenance of precision and measuring instruments, scales and small parts. Its biocompatibility reduces PPE requirements for handling treated parts and facilitates waste disposal, which results in increased productivity.

Leather

BALLISTOL effectively protects leather from drying out from the penetration of water and dirt. Residues of tanning acids are neutralized. The dry leather becomes soft and supple again, with a silky sheen. The typical BALLISTOL odor vanishes in a very short time and leaves no traces of grease. Light-colored leathers may darken with the application of Ballistol.

Wood

BALLISTOL protects, preserves and regenerates natural wood. It highlights the grain, protects against moisture, rot and insects. Also ideal for the maintenance of antique furniture.

Synthetic and rubber

BALLISTOL cares for and protects oil-resistant synthetics and rubbers, keeps them elastic and protects against drying out and stiffening. It prevents rubber seals on vehicle doors from sticking due to frost. Synthetic surfaces regain their original luster without the need to grease them.
