This dies is a generic 6.5mm recalibrator for casings with a head space not exceeding 0.510". Recalibrating the collet can eliminate problems of excessive head space and allows the bullet to be perfectly aligned with the barrel, resulting in better accuracy and longer casing life. They should only be used for bolt-action rifle cartridge cases. Self-loading, lever-action and pump-action rifles usually require a complete resizing.
It features an elliptical expander made of hardened steel, which ensures uniform expansion and a smooth release from the case neck.
