This model of press with gauge allows the force exerted to be measured by means of an indicator consisting of a deflection spring, where one pound of force is equivalent to 0.001". This is easily read on the panel of the dial indicator. On top of the press is installed the dial indicator. Which is connected to the deflection spring by a rod. When a certain force is exerted on the lever of the press, the spring deflects and moves the rod, which in turn rotates the pointer of the dial indicator. LEFT HAND for left-handed use.
