With an upgraded, more powerful and faster processor than the 5700 Elite, the 5700X provides faster targeting data for long range targets. For added safety, the adjustable Bluetooth® Low Energy signal can be set from full power to off to minimise Bluetooth® range detection.
The 5700 X ELITE utilises the Applied Ballistics projectile library with customised drag models, an exact measurement of the projectile's drag profile and corrections for aerodynamic jump, spin drift, Coriolis and drop scale factoring for accurate long range shots.
Additional functions include a customisable target card and expanded ballistic data table, as well as the ability to store up to 30 weapon and bullet profiles and 10 saved targets.
The weather mode offers all the environmental measurements, storage and graphical capabilities of the Kestrel 5500 weather station, including wind speed, direction, crosswind, temperature, humidity, pressure and altitude.
LiNK connectivity powered by Bluetooth® low energy allows wireless communication with mobile devices and computers and integration with LiNK compatible laser rangefinders for increased speed and accuracy.
The Kestrel LiNK for Ballistics app on Android and iOS allows full management of the weapon and access to the Applied Ballistics library of custom resistance models for transfer to the Kestrel.
The large, high-resolution, high-contrast graphic display is perfectly readable even in bright sunlight. It includes white and red backlighting for night vision.
You can choose different units of measurement (Mils, true MOA, shooter MOA or click): and it works with any weapon or rifle scope.
Finally, to call the 5700 X Elite rugged is putting it mildly; it is drop tested to MIL-STD-810G standards and, as if that were not enough, it meets IP67 waterproofing standards.
