In rifles, this 100 grain #1560 Spitzer Boat Tail bullet with a heavy, double-tapered jacket ensures adequate penetration with reliable expansion on medium game. It is the boat tail counterpart to the flatbase #1540 Pro-Hunter bullet, but when ranges exceed 300 yards, the #1560 bullet is the choice for best downrange performance.
